Enjoy your breakfast this morning before departing for the Shyam Valley excursion. Visit the famous Gurudwara Pathar Sahib on the way, and then head to Magnetic Hill, which is where your car moves uphill even when it is in neutral. Later, visit the Sangam Point of Indus and Zanskar. Return to the hotel and spend the night in Leh.
After breakfast, you will be driven to Nubra Valley via Khardungla pass, which is regarded as the highest motorable road in the world. Experience the breathtaking views of the endless snow-capped mountains around Khardungla Pass (18,380 feet). On the way to the Nubra Valley, admire the 106 foot tall statue of the Future Buddha. Additionally, you can enjoy a Camel Safari in the evening and visit the cold desert of Nubra Valley. During your stay, you will go to a camp.
Drive to Turtuk after breakfast. Turkuk is one of the gateways to the Siachen Glacier, and is the last outpost in India before entering Pakistani-controlled Gilgit-Baltistan. You have not seen anything like this in Ladakh since it is part of Gilgit-Baltistan, which is a linguistic, cultural, and historical region distinct from Ladakh. There is a dramatic difference in the landscape, with narrow valleys and steep mountains in contrast to Central Ladakh and Nubra. Comparatively, you’ll find green pastures here that produce fresh fruits like apricots and apples since it is located at a lower altitude than Leh. Spend the night in Nubra.
Enjoy an early breakfast this morning and then head out to see the Pangong Lake via Shyok. The beautiful colors of the water in Pangong Lake are a delight to behold. Pangong lake with a height of 4267 metres and a length of 130 kms and a width of about 6 kms, it is the highest salt-water lake in the world. The perfect clarity of the environment combined with the beautiful surrounding hills has added to its magnificence. Spend a few more minutes with nature while you eat dinner and take in the starry night sky. Spend the night in Pangong.
You can spend the morning in the camps, enjoy a delicious breakfast, and create memories that will last a lifetime. Continue driving back to Leh, crossing the Changla La (pass). You should arrive at Leh in the afternoon. Enjoy some shopping at nearby local markets or simply relax. Take a relaxing nap after dinner to prepare yourself for the next day trip.
After breakfast, we will go sightseeing in Leh. Begin your trip by visiting Shey Place and Thikse Monastery. Here you experience stupas, statues, Thangkas, wall paintings, and a large pillar representing Buddha’s teachings. After lunch, continue driving to Hemis Monastery, built in 1630 and the oldest monastery of the Drukpa Kagyu Order of Tibetan Buddhism. Later, explore the Stok Palace Museum. Spend your last night in Leh.
After breakfast, checkout from the hotel and head to the airport. You will be dropped off at Leh Airport. Our tour will end with cherished memories.
