Delhi: Delhi is the capital of India and its third largest city. Delhi, the seat of one of the world’s largest democracies is a combination of “Old Delhi”- the capital of Muslim India and “New Delhi” the imperial city created as the nation’s capital by the British. There’s a unique blend of tradition and modernity. Here one can see mingling of many cultures, languages, traditions and people in complete harmony.

Raj Ghat: The mortal remains of Mahatma Gandhi were cremated on this spot on the west bank of the river Yamuna on the evening of January 31, 1948. A simple open platform inscribed with the Mahatma’s last words, ‘Hey Ram’ (Oh God) is set in a garden with fountains and a variety of exotic trees.
Jama Masjid: It is the largest mosque in India. Located in Old Delhi, the mosque has the capacity to accommodate 25000 devotees. Jama Masjid was completed in 1656 AD and it was again the great Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan behind this architectural masterpiece. Close to some 5000 craftsmen were involved in the construction of the mosque. Jama Masjid is also called the Friday congregational mosque.

Lotus Temple The Lotus Temple, located in Delhi, India, is a Bahá’í House of Worship that was dedicated in December 1986, costing $10 million. Notable for its flowerlike shape, it has become a prominent attraction in the city.

Agra Fort – the rusty and majestic red- sandstone fort of Agra stands on the banks of the river Yamuna and the construction was started by Emperor Akbar in 1566. At the Diwan-I-Am (hall of public audience), a colonnaded hall of red-sandstone with a throne alcove of inlaid marble at the back, the Emperor heard public petitions. At the Diwan-I-Khas (hall of private audience) where marble pavilions with floral inlays lend an ethereal ambience, the Emperor sat on his gem-studded peacock Throne and met foreign ambassadors and rulers of friendly kingdoms.
RETURN BACK TO HOTEL FOR BREAKFAST
Agra Fort: Situated on the West Bank of the Yamuna, Agra Fort was built by Emperor Akbar between 1565 and 1573. It’s imposing red sandstone ramparts from a crescent along the riverfront, and encompasses an enormous complex of courtly buildings, ranging in style from the early eclecticism of Akbar to the sublime elegance of Shah Jahan. The barracks to the north are 19th century British additions. A deep moat, once filled with water from the Yamuna, surrounds the fort.
ITMAD-UD-DAULAH is perhaps the Mughal Empire’s best kept secret. Empress Nur Jehan, wife of Jehangir, son of Akbar, commissioned the structure as a memorial to her father. Mistakenly called Baby Taj, Itmad-ud-Daulah is in fact decades older than the Taj and may have served as its design blueprint. A must-see hidden gem.
After noon Drive to Jaipur .En-route visit Fatehpur sikri .
On the way, we visit the ruined city Fatehpur Sikri which has several striking features to look at, especially the Buland Darwaza. Fatehpur Sikri has been given the distinction of being a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Continue drive to Jaipur .
The origins of the beautiful city of Jaipur can be traced back to the eighteenth century, during the reign of Jai Singh II who ascended the Amber throne in 1699. Jaipur today, epitomizes the spirit of Rajputana. In-spite of growing into a bustling metropolis, it still retains its character and history – A beautiful fusion of the yesteryears and modernity. Jaipur is popularly known as the Pink City because of the extensive use of the locally abundant pink plastered stone, painted so in honor of the visit of the royal consort of Queen Victoria.

Briefing (Amber Fort Palace): – Amber is the classic romantic Rajasthani fort palace. Its construction was started by Man Singh I in 1592, and completed by his descendent Jai Singh I. Its forbidding exterior belies an inner paradise where a beautiful fusion of Mughal and Hindu styles finds its ultimate expression.
CITY PALACE – A delightful blend of Mughal and traditional Rajasthani architecture, the City Palace sprawls over one-seventh of the area in the walled city. It houses the Chandra Mahal, Shri Govind Dev Temple and the City Palace Museum.
JANTAR MANTAR – This is the largest and the best preserved of the five observatories built by Jai Singh II in different parts of the country. This observatory consisting of outsized astronomical instruments is still in use.
HAWA MAHAL – The ornamental facade of this “Palace of Winds” is a prominent landmark in Jaipur. It is a five-storey structure of sandstone plastered pink encrusted with fine trelliswork and elaborate balconies. The palace has 953 niches and windows. Built in 1799 by Pratap Singh, the Mahal was a royal grandstand for the palace women.
This afternoon is free for you to relax, shop or explore independently. Shopping is superb in Jaipur, particularly for gold and silver jewellery, pottery, tie-dye materials, silk, saris, wooden handicrafts and carpets.

After breakfast Drive to Mandawa . Morning drive to Shekhawati town and Bagar. The typical havelis in Shekhawati consist of two courtyards, an outer one for the men which serves as an extended threshold and the inner one, the domain of the women. The biggest ones sometimes had three or four courtyards and two to three stories high.
On arrival transfer to hotel and Relax
After noon Walking tour of Mandawa Village – founded in the 18th century. Mandawa, often called the open air art gallery of Rajasthan’, the region is famous for the high quality frescoes. Also visit the painted Havelis of the ancient and the famous silk route. The painted ‘havelis’ of some of the leading business families of the country. Chowkhani Haveli, Gulab Rai Ladia Haveli, Lakshmi Narayan Ladia Haveli, Mohahanlal Saraf Haveli and Bhag chandika Haveli are of special interest.

Morning after breakfast, later drive to Bikaner- On arrival transfer to Camel safari Point. Meet your Camel & start Camel Safari passing through desert villages /sand dunes. Stop for lunch in the middle of Thar Desert. Enjoy Camel Safari till sunset. Settle in your tented camps over sand dunes for overnight stay.
Visit the well-preserved Junagarh Fort. It is an unassailable fortress, which has never been conquered. Built in 1593 A.D. by Raja Rai Singh, one of the most distinguished generals in the army of Emperor Akbar, the fort is a formidable structure encircled by a moat.

Jodhpur is a city in the Thar Desert of the northwest Indian state of Rajasthan. Its 15th-century Mehrangarh Fort is a former palace that’s now a museum, displaying weapons, paintings and elaborate royal palanquins (sedan chairs). Set on on a rocky outcrop, the fort overlooks the walled city, where many buildings are painted the city’s iconic shade of blue.

The city is built in 1559 A.D. by Maharaja Udai Singh and has been described as the most romantic spot on the continent of India by Col. James Todd. Visit the City Palace museum, the Jagdish temple, Sahelion Ki Bari (Queen’s resort for their friends) Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandir (Folk art museum) and the Pratap Memorial
Overnight stay will be in Udaipur .
Udaipur to Mumbai is what makes this day fascinating and captivating. In the morning we transfer and fly to Mumbai. Check into hotel and thereafter we go for the city sightseeing.
Visit the famous landmark Gateway of India, Rajabai clock tower, Chatrapati Shivaji Terminus and Sidhivinayak Temple dedicated to Lord Ganesha, Hanging Garden of Mumbai etc.
At evening, stroll the local markets of Mumbai which is most popular Crawford Mumbai, Linking Road bandra etc. and enjoy the local street food.

We go for the departure from Mumbai on this day. In fact, that is what makes the tour all the more significant and worthwhile. Early morning transfer to airport for your onward flight.
